1. Information we collect

VIN numbers you submit for decoding. A VIN is a vehicle identifier and is not, by itself, personal data.
Contact details (name, email, phone) when you write to us through the contact form, support email, or review submissions.
User-generated content such as ownership reviews you choose to publish on the site.

b. Automatically collected

Usage data: IP address, browser type, OS, referrer, pages visited, time on site.
Cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising, and core site functionality. You can manage preferences through your browser.

2. How we use it

To deliver VIN decoding results and vehicle history reports.
To respond to your support requests and communicate with you.

VIN lookup results are cached so we can return them quickly to other users searching the same VIN. They contain no buyer-side personal data. Contact-form messages are retained while we resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can request deletion at any time.
